From one rink to 16 sports
Hydra started with a simple idea: Kerala's kids deserved coaching that took them as seriously as any national academy would. What began as roller-skating lessons for a handful of neighbourhood children has grown into a company running programs across 16 sports and 18+ partner schools.
Along the way, we picked up something we didn't set out for — five Guinness World Records and 22 individual record holders. But the achievement we're proudest of is quieter: thousands of first-time athletes who found out they were capable of more than they thought.
In parallel, our guides started taking students' families out on the backwaters and hills around us — and that side of the work grew into Hydra Tourism, now offering kayaking, boating, ATV rides and mud tourism across Kerala.
